Re: Move Addresses (Address Book)
it's "Address Book" folder, located inside your main data folder.
copy the entire content - all vcf-files to a new location (corresponding "Address Book" folder).
if you don't know the location of new/default main data folder:
Session/Information -> User Data Folder

Move Addresses(address Book)
Data and Program(Pandora) files are where they should be (now) according to "Session>Information".
I still can't bring up the address book by the "docking" or in "View: ctl F1"
As a Trial
I've copied the data files to a new folder (E:\$PAN) [Pandora is installed in D:\PANDORA]
Then in the icon properties I have D:\Pandora\pandora.exe "E:\$PAN"------Pandora opens,but no address/data.
Am now back to where the installer put the files..still no addresses(Data).

Re: Move Addresses (Address Book)
add "data" parameter, so it's:
D:\Pandora\pandora.exe -data="E:\$PAN"
D:\Pandora\pandora.exe -data="E:\$PAN"

Re: Move Addresses (Address Book)
so you can't see the pane, try this:
1. press Ctrl+F1, it'll be offscreen
2. press F8 to tranform the pane into the workspace window
3. press Shift+F8 to stack windows
from there:
1. right click on Address Book caption bar, choose: Floating, Docking etc..

Re: Move Addresses (Address Book)
is on-display filter active?
Address Book, at the bottom there is a Greek sigma letter (upper-case, looks like reversed 3). right next to it is total cards count.
if you can't see that sign, click on Find Cards button (to set the focus on the text-box), then press Esc (to turn off the filter - display all the cards).

Move Addresses (Address Book)
Hi B.
Sorry to be such a pain but still no addresses..The Sigma character is there with a zero to the right.
to the left is a grayed out dotted icon with a red zero to the right of it.
At the top of the address book I click on "FIND" and then escape.. The address book vanishes..still
no addresses

Re: Move Addresses (Address Book)
how about this:
create a bogus nickname, name it like that - bogus, hit save.
in Windows Explorer, search your computer for bogus.vcf.
it's located inside the Address Book sub-folder of your new main data folder.
copy the entire content of your old Address Book sub-folder to Address Book where bogus.vcf is located.

address book (
Really don't know what is going on..Don't believe Pandora is saving addresses ??? I made the bogus nickname and is showed up in Pandora's address book
but when doing a search(with several search engines) it was nowhere to be found...Also did a global, wildcard search ( *.vcf) and nothing was found..I know this not to be true cause
I can look in my E:\$PAN and see all the data including the vcf files...They are not showing up and neither is the new bogus.vcf... Any more ideas ???

Move Addresses (Address Book)
More Info.: I did find the bogus.vcf file..it was in the E:$PAN folder (not in the address book folder) so , as a trial, I moved all address out of the address book and into the $pan folder..Still the same
Only nickname showing up in Pandora is "bogus" (at least it saved that and I can use it to sent a email). ha

which "search engines" did you use exactly and which drives did you scan? get the application like Total Commander, and search all the drives, including drive E.

in Windows Explorer when you search a folder, say E:\$PAN, it will display all the files, while at the address bar you have that folder as a local root. hit "View\Details" (add Folder column if missing) or "View\Content" to see the full paths.
